Actress Swara Bhasker participated in Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Jan Nyay Padyatra' in Mumbai on Sunday morning.
A video posted by the Congress on its official social media account captured Bhasker walking alongside Gandhi, accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Tushar Gandhi, the great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.
Bhasker praised the two yatras undertaken by Rahul Gandhi, namely the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' and 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'.
She highlighted the yatra's objective of unifying the country and addressing the prevalent issue of hatred. Bhasker emphasized that India's foundation lies in love and not hatred.
Swara commended Gandhi's efforts to connect with people, stating that his yatras provided a platform for people to express their thoughts and concerns.
Bhasker had previously joined Gandhi in his Bharat Jodo Yatra in December 2022, expressing admiration for his energy, commitment, and the warmth of the people.
The 'Nyay Sankalp Padyatra' commenced from Mani Bhavan, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi in south Mumbai, and will culminate at August Kranti Maidan, where the Quit India movement began in 1942.
Members of the opposition INDIA bloc also participated in the foot march alongside Gandhi.
Previously, on Saturday, Gandhi concluded his 63-day-long 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Mumbai, his second yatra within two years ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, which had begun from Manipur on January 14.
