Shivpuri: A sensational case of kidnapping of a student from Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh in Kota, Rajasthan has come to light. The kidnappers have sent to her family the photo of the girl student tied with a rope and also demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh. Her father Raghuveer, a resident of Shivpuri, runs a private school in Bairad town of the district.
As soon as the photo of the daughter tied with a rope and the ransom demand came to light, the girl's family members paniced and they informed the police. While Kota police have registered the case, Shivpuri police have also started searching for the student by contacting Kota police.
Was preparing for NEET
According to the information, the student, a resident of Shivpuri, had gone to Kota in September 2023 to study. Her father got her admitted in a coaching institute for NEET preparation and also made arrangements for a room on rent nearby for her to stay. Girl's father told the police that his daughter had come home on Diwali and she had told her mother she would come home again after her exams were over.
MP & Rajasthan police have started probe
On the complaint of the girl's father, the Kota as well as Shivpuri police have registered a case of kidnapping and deployed police teams to track down the kidnappers. Police officials say that based on the situation as seen in the photo and CCTV cameras, the incident and location are being ascertained.
Kota, which is known as an education hub, is continuously reporting cases of students being affected due to study pressure. While cases of suicide by students due to stress have come to light in Kota, now a sensational case of kidnapping of a 20 year old student of Shivpuri has come to light.
Scindia calls Bhajanlal Sharma
The student who was kidnapped is the daughter of the powerful community of Shivpuri. When Jyotiraditya Scindia came to know about this kidnapping case, he talked to Rajasthan's CM Bhajanlal Sharma over phone. Scindia urged CM Sharma that the police should investigate as soon as possible and bring back his daughter.
Scindia also spoke to the father of the victim student on phone and he assured the father that he himself is taking updates in this matter. He has asked CM Bhajanlal to bring his daughter back as soon as possible. He also asked the student's father to keep in touch with him. By whatever means he will bring his daughter back.
