Mukhtar Ansari Death: The body of mafia Mukhtar has been sent to his birthplace Ghazipur. The entire Ansari family is gathering in 'Fatak' area of Ghazipur. Mukhtar Ansari was born in this house and it was here that he grew up. Mukhtar will be laid to rest near the graves of his parents. 

Now everyone's eyes are on Mukhtar Ansari's wife Afshan. A large number of Mukhtar's supporters and relatives have reached his house. Meanwhile, the biggest question is where is Mukhtar's wife Afshan Ansari? Will Afshan surrender after her husband's death? Will she attend his funeral or not?

Mukhtar Ansari was called mafia and don of UP. Mukhtar's wife Afshan Ansari is also called the lady don of UP. 

Afshan Ansari carries reward of 75000 

UP Police has been searching for Afshan Ansari for a long time. First the police placed a reward of Rs 25 thousand on Afshan Ansari. But the police could not find any trace of her. After this the police increased the reward to Rs 50 thousand. But still the police could not catch Afshan. Now Afshan Ansari has a reward of Rs 75 thousand. But she is still absconding from the police. Several police teams are searching for Afshan.

Mau Police has also announced a reward on Afshan. Many cases are registered against Afshan like fraudulent buying and selling of land, taking financial benefits by taking possession of land through fraudulent means and getting government land in her name on the basis of her influence. Afshan has even been declared absconder by the Mau Police.

Afshan started taking care of Mukhtar's entire gang?

While 65 cases of serious crimes are registered against Mukhtar Ansari, 11 cases are also registered against his wife and Lady Don Afshan Ansari. Afshan Ansari faces many charges including grabbing government land. It is believed that after Mukhtar went to jail, his wife Afshan started taking care of Mukhtar's entire gang.

It is said that there came a time when Afshan Ansari started taking all the decisions of the gang and whatever orders were given by Mukhtar from the jail, she started getting the gang's henchmen to execute them. 

Police hope that Afshan Ansari can come forward

Now that her husband Mukhtar has died, the police hope that Afshan Ansari can come forward in front of the police and people. Police believe that Afshan may come forward to follow the rituals. If Afshan comes forward, the police can also take action against her.

Probe ordered

Meanwhile, a judicial inquiry has been ordered by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Banda district in the death of mafia-turned-politician and former MLA Mukhtar Ansari on Friday, official sources said here.

Sources said that the inquiry was ordered by CJM Bhagwan Das Gupta on a letter sent by the Senior Superintendent of Banda district jail requesting to appoint an inquiry officer.

"The CJM has appointed Additional CJM (MP-MLA court) Garima as the inquiry officer," they said.

Sources said that the inquiry officer has been asked to complete the probe and submit the report within a month.

Mukhtar's body sent to Ghazipur 

The body of Mukhtar Ansari was sent to his native district Ghazipur from Banda after postmortem, amid tight security on Friday, police sources said here.

Police said the postmortem was conducted by a panel of five doctors and the entire process was videographed. "Only selected people were allowed during the postmortem examination. After the autopsy, the body was handed over to Mukhtar's son Umar Ansari.
