Sudha Murty, the esteemed author and philanthropist, has been appointed to the Rajya Sabha by President Droupadi Murmu. Sudha Murty, renowned for her simplicity and openness, commenced her career as an engineer with TELCO (now Tata Motors). She currently serves as the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and has made significant contributions to social work. Her husband, Narayana Murthy, is the founder of Infosys, and her son-in-law is UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
