Bihar: Fire breaks out in Patna hotel, 6 die, 7 serious, those trapped brought down by hydraulic cranes



Patna: Six people died in a massive fire incident that took place in Patna, Bihar on Thursday, while 7 people are still seriously injured and are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Patna. Patna City SP Chandra Prakash has confirmed the death of six people in the horrific accident. The dead include three women and three men. Cylinder explosion is said to be the cause of the fire that broke out in Pal Hotel cum Restaurant near Patna railway station.


The fire brigade team had to work hard to control the fire that broke out in Pal Hotel. Many fire brigade vehicles took hours to extinguish the fire. DG Fire Shobha Ahotkar also reached the spot after the incident. She said that the fire has been brought under control.


After the fire in the hotel, 45 people have been rescued and taken out, while the treatment of 38 people is going on in PMCH, Patna. There was chaos in Patna for a long time after this accident which took place under Kotwali police station of Patna. After controlling the fire, the situation is currently under control.


In this fire incident, many people were trapped in the building, who were brought down by hydraulic cranes and fire engines. Five big fire brigade vehicles are on the spot. By the time people trapped in the building were rescued, many became unconscious. Many people were trapped in the fire and could be saved with much difficulty.
