Chhindwara Lok Sabha Elections-2024: What Vikram Singh Ahake Said? Setback To BJP On Day Of Voting

Chhindwara Lok Sabha Elections: All eyes are on the high-profile seat of Madhya Pradesh, Chhindwara. In a surprising turn of events, Chhindwara Mayor Vikram Ahake, who had recently switched allegiance to the BJP, made a dramatic statement on voting day. In a video shared on social media, Ahake expressed feeling "suffocated" after his recent party switch.

This development comes amidst ongoing voting across six Lok Sabha seats in northeastern Madhya Pradesh, including Sidhi, Balaghat, Mandla, Chhindwara, Shahdol, and Jabalpur.

BJP faced a big setback in Chhindwara when a video went viral on social media, making headlines on TV. The video belongs to former Congressman and current BJP Mayor Vikram Singh Ahake. Through the video, Ahake dealt a significant blow to the BJP. The video released by him also hints at something significant to come. It's clear that Vikram is concerned, having released the video.

Feeling suffocation: Ahake

In the video, Vikram says, "Hello, today I'm going to express my thoughts in front of you all without any pressure... Friends, a few days ago, I joined a political party. But from the day I joined that party, I've been feeling suffocation from inside. I feel within myself that Vikram, you're doing wrong. You're wronging the person who developed Chhindwara. He helped the people of Chhindwara in their sorrows. And has always stood by them."

'I don't know what will happen next to me'

Ahake continues, "There will be many opportunities for politics in life. I don't know what will happen next to me. But if today I don't stand with Kamal Nath and Nakul Nath, it'll be a big injustice. Because, along with me, they've taken Chhindwara to great heights. That's why today I want to appeal to all of you to make Nakul Nath and Kamal Nath victorious with big margin."
