Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha Election-2024: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a 'unique' experiment. He remains silent during the road show and holds a symbol of lotus in his hand. His road show to be held tomorrow in the capital Bhopal is going to be very grand and historic.
During an interaction with reporters here, Dr Yadav said that the Prime Minister's visit to the state tomorrow on Wednesday is his fifth visit in the last few days. With this, the record of a Prime Minister visiting the state for the most times is going to be made in PM Modi’s name. Under his leadership, the state has received gifts worth approximately Rs 1.25 lakh crore.
CM Dr Yadav said that during his last 100 days tenure, the state has received the gift of Parvati Kalisindh Project worth Rs 35 thousand crore and Ken Betwa Project worth Rs 45 thousand crore through the Prime Minister. All these steps show the importance of Madhya Pradesh for the Centre.
He said that the PM visited Jabalpur on 7th April, Balaghat on 9th, Narmadapuram on 14th, Damoh on 19th and now tomorrow he will hold meetings in Sagar and Harda and road show in Bhopal. This road show of about one kilometer will take place in the New Market area.
Dr. Yadav said that the Prime Minister has done a unique experiment for campaigning in the metropolitan cities, in which the message of the party is conveyed to the people without saying anything, just by holding a lotus flower in his hand. The advantage of this silent appeal for votes is that we can avoid all the problems that come with the arrangements for the general meetings. In this sequence, he said that other parties should also learn from this experiment of the Prime Minister.
PM will be welcomed on more than 200 platforms
Regarding tomorrow's road show, Dr. Yadav said that the Prime Minister will be welcomed on more than 200 platforms. During this time, various artists, saints and people from different societies will welcome him. Women will traditionally perform the aarti of PM Modi amid a grand shower of flowers. This road show will be completely saffron. Artists will give their traditional performances and there will be cultural tableaux along the route of the road show.
He also requested the owners of establishments falling on the route of the road show to welcome the Prime Minister.
In response to a question, he said that Congress people are continuously losing, yet they are never coming among the public. Whereas BJP is continuously winning in Madhya Pradesh, even after that the Prime Minister is humbly registering his presence among the public.
