Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold a road show in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, before the second phase of voting. After Jabalpur, PM Modi will hold a one kilometer long road show in Bhopal on April 24 in support of BJP candidate Alok Sharma.
The second phase of voting is on 26th April, in which voting will be held in Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa and Hoshangabad Lok Sabha constituencies of Madhya Pradesh.
PM Modi's road show will start from in front of the Old Assembly and pass through Roshanpura intersection and end near Apex Bank Point.
The road show has been organized in such an area from where both old and new Bhopal areas can be covered. Before the road show in Bhopal, PM Modi will hold election meetings in Sagar and Harda.
This will be PM Modi's fifth visit to Madhya Pradesh in 20 days after the implementation of the code of conduct. On April 7, Narendra Modi came to the state for the first time and did a road show in Jabalpur.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing for PM's visit. Tight security arrangements are being made. Barricades have been put up on the road where Modi is scheduled to hold the road show. Large numbers of policemen have been deployed and senior district and administrative officials visited the venue on Monday to oversee the security arrangements.
