MP News: Amarwara By-Election: Who is Congress Candidate Dheeran Shah Inwati, to Contest Against BJP's Kamlesh Shah

The Congress party has announced its candidate for the upcoming by-election in the Amarwara assembly seat of Chhindwara. Dheeran Shah Inwati will represent Congress in this contest. A day prior, the BJP had submitted the nomination form for Kamlesh Shah, a former Congress MLA who recently switched allegiance to the BJP.

Kamlesh Shah's resignation from his MLA post and his subsequent defection to the BJP led to the vacancy in the Amarwada seat, prompting the Election Commission to organize a by-election. The key contenders in this by-election are Kamlesh Shah from BJP and Dheeran Shah Inwati from Congress.

Kamal Nath's Support for Inwati

Following Congress's announcement, Kamal Nath expressed his support for Dheeran Shah Inwati on X. He wrote, "Dheeran Shah Inwati has been declared the Congress candidate for the Amarwara assembly by-election. I appeal to the people of Amarwara and Congress workers to give their full support and blessings to the Congress candidate. Jai Congress, Vijay Congress."

Who is Dheeran Shah Inwati

Dheeran Shah Inwati is a fresh, young face in the political arena. He is the son of Sukhram Dada, the sevadar of Anchalkund Darbar. Prior to entering politics, Inwati worked as a salesman at Batkakhapa Society, a position he resigned from after Congress decided to field him as their candidate. The Congress party's final decision came after consultations with senior leader Kamal Nath.

This by-election follows the defeat of Kamal Nath's son, Nakul Nath, in the Chhindwara seat during the Lok Sabha elections. The outcome of this by-election will be closely watched to gauge the political dynamics in the Amarwada assembly seat of Chhindwara.
