To establish air connectivity among 8 cities in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to launch the PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva from Bhopal on June 13. The cities to be connected include Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho. The service will operate with two 6-seater aircraft. The route of the inaugural flight will be Bhopal-Jabalpur-Rewa-Singrauli.
The PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva was inaugurated on March 14 at the State Hangar in Bhopal by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. An online ticket booking platform called Flyola website has been developed for convenience of passengers. The ticket fares are yet to be announced.
Business, health, education and culture will benefit
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla said that under the guidance of the Chief Minister, the Tourism Department is constantly innovating to improve and facilitate connectivity between the tourist places of the state and to expand tourism facilities. This is beneficial for the tourism sector as well as industry, business, health, education and promotion of culture and art.
The Principal Secretary said that booking counters have been set up at the airports of Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur for booking air services. Eight cities of the state are being connected through air service. Which will be expanded to some more cities in the coming time. Tourism air service is being connected to the major cities of the state. Air travel will start from Gwalior on June 15 and from Ujjain on June 16.
