Congress's performance in Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha elections-2024 has been much better than the last two elections. But former CM Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot lost from Jalore seat. Therefore, questions are being raised on Ashok Gehlot within the Congress itself that he put focused only on his son's seat during the election, yet he could not win the election. Now Sachin Pilot's reaction has come to the fore on Vaibhav's defeat from Jalore.
Regarding the Congress defeat in Jalore, Sachin Pilot mentioned, "There are many people who were unable to win. Vaibhav faced defeat last time too. This time as well. We will now put in more effort to secure victories in the constituencies where we have faced losses."
Sachin Pilot, while talking to the media in Tonk, said that I have always talked about giving a chance to the youth. The party gave a chance to many young leaders, who also won the trust of the public.
Pilot also noted that the people's mandate is evident, signaling a rejection of the vindictive politics that was practised over the past decade by the BJP. He said people have given their verdict against the BJP's policy of trying to eliminate and harass the Opposition. Such tactics have been rejected by the people, he said.
