We will defeat hatred and violence that is spreading in country: Rahul Gandhi wrote to people of Wayanad, what more he wrote?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi penned a letter to the constituents of his Lok Sabha constituency, Wayanad in Kerala. In the letter, he expressed his emotions about departing from the Wayanad seat and the affection he received from the local residents. He recalled meeting them five years ago, arriving with the expectation of their support. Despite being a newcomer at that time, the people placed their trust in him.

Rahul elaborated that during times of constant criticism, the unwavering love from the people shielded him. The people became his refuge, his home, and his family. That is why you must have seen sadness in my eyes when I told the media about my decision to separate from you, Rahul wrote.

Rahul wrote: I do not know how to thank you for what you have done for me. For the love and protection you gave me when I needed it most. You are part of my family, and I will always be there for each and every one of you.

I am sad, but I find solace in the thought that my sister Priyanka will be there to represent you. I am confident that if you give her a chance she will do a wonderful job as your MP.

Rahul wrote further: I also find solace in the thought that I have a loving family in the people of Rae Bareli and a bond that I cherish deeply. M pledge to both you and the people of Rae Bareli is that we will defeat the hatred and violence that is spreading in the country.

In fact, Rahul Gandhi has won from two Lok Sabha seats - Wayanad and Rae Bareli, but according to the law, he will have to vacate one seat. Rahul will keep the Rae Bareli seat with himself and vacate the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Rahul's sister and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi will contest from the Wayanad seat.
