Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha has said AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal will participate in the India Alliance meeting.
Raghav Chadha said, "Today a meeting of the top leadership of the India Alliance has been called at the house of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, party convener Arvind Kejriwal and I will participate in the meeting."
Raghav Chadha will also be a part of this meeting. Leaders of other parties of the India Alliance are also participating in this meeting.
Raghav Chadha returned to India from London on May 18 after a gap of three months. At the same time, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has got interim bail till June 1 in the alleged liquor scam.
Arvind Kejriwal will surrender in Tihar Jail tomorrow i.e. on June 2.
India Bloc meeting has been called to discuss the future course of action following the results of the Lok Sabha polls-2024 are announced on June 4.
Several leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal, and Jharkhand CM Champai Soren have arrived at Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge's residence to attend the meeting.
Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, will be attending the meeting. However, W Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will not attend the meeting.
Citing the Lok Sabha elections and Cyclone Remal, Banerjee said that she would not be able to attend the meeting.
Apart from Mamata, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will also be skipping the INDIA bloc's meeting today. Instead, DMK's parliamentary party leader, T.R. Baalu will be attending the meeting. PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti will also not attend the meeting.
