Before the monsoon session of Parliament, two allies of the NDA government have slammed the order issued by the UP government regarding the Kanwar Yatra.
However, the allies of the BJP did not raise these issues in the all-party meeting but focused on the issues related to their respective states.
JDU and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), allies of the BJP in Bihar, have demanded special status for Bihar.
JDU and LJP (Ram Vilas) said that their demand should be included in the Union Budget.
JDU Executive President Sanjay Jha said after the meeting, "The issue of special status for Bihar has been raised." He said that we are raising the demand for special status for Bihar. If there is any technical problem in this, then Bihar should be given a special package.
He said that the issue of flood in Bihar has also been raised from our side because the water comes from Nepal. The Center should intervene in this. There is a need to build a dam to prevent floods.
LJP (Ram Vilas) leader and Union Minister Chirag Paswan has also reiterated Sanjay Jha's demand.
On the order issued by the UP government regarding Kanwariyas, Sanjay Jha said that political parties should avoid giving such orders and there should be no division in the society on the basis of caste and religion.
