Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav led the Tiranga Yatra in an open jeep; people of all ages participated


Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav led the state-level grand Tiranga Yatra in an open jeep in Bhopal. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang and MP VD Sharma were also present. Olympians Vivek Sagar and Aishwary Pratap Singh also participated in the Tiranga Yatra.


CM Mohan Yadav started the Yatra by waving the national flag Tricolor. Bronze medalist Indian hockey team midfielder Vivek Sagar and Olympian and Arjuna Awardee shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar were honored by Dr. Yadav.



In the Yatra, the CM rode in an open jeep and walked ahead holding the tricolor in his hand. Many youths also cycled and walked. The enthusiasm of the people did not decrease in the drizzling rain of Sawan, people kept dancing and singing to the tune of DJ. The Yatra concluded at 12 noon on platform number 1 of the main railway station.



CM in track suit encouraged the youth


Seeing Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in track suit in Tiranga Yatra, there was an unexpected enthusiasm among the people including school children, college students, players and coaches at the venue. Everyone was overwhelmed to see the CM dressed in track suit to instill enthusiasm in the youth.


Along with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Mayor Malti Rai, Additional Chief Secretary Smita Ghate Bhardwaj, Sports Director Ravi Kumar Gupta, Sumit Pachauri, school children, college students, youth and players and coaches were also present in Tiranga Yatra.



Patriotic songs were sung throughout


Singer Sunil Shukraware and his team enthralled the audience in Tiranga Yatra. The entire area was filled with the spirit of patriotism due to their passionate patriotic songs. 


Shukraware filled the youth with enthusiasm by singing songs like 'Mera Rang De Basanti Chola', 'Meri Aan Tiranga Hai Meri Shaan Tiranga Hai Meri Jaan Tiranga Hai', 'Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge Ae Watan Tere Liye', 'Maa Tujhe Salaam', 'Ab Ke Baras Tujhe Dharti Ki Rani Kar Denge', 'Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo', etc.


Youth thrilled to see Olympic medal


On the request of Minister Sarang, Olympic medalist Shri Vivek Sagar excited, encouraged and thrilled the youth by showing his medal to them. Seeing this, the enthusiasm and zeal of the young players was worth seeing. This effort of Minister Sarang to attract the youth towards sports will bear fruit.


Paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose


Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and other guests garlanded the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose installed at Prabhat Square and paid homage to him. The guests were presented with mementos.



People from all sections of society participated in Tiranga Yatra


The Tiranga Yatra started near Subhash Nagar Bridge. It concluded near Bhopal Railway Station. Meanwhile, the grand Tiranga Yatra was given a grand welcome at more than 100 places. Schools, colleges, social institutions, social organizations, citizens, shopkeepers, residents, all welcomed the Yatra by showering flowers and garlanding it. Even heavy rain could not stop the Yatra which started with drizzle.

Players also participated in the Tiranga Yatra on foot and bicycle. The enthusiasm of school children on both sides of the Tiranga Yatra route was worth seeing. They created an atmosphere of patriotism by chanting Vande Mataram, Jai Hind and Bharat Mata ki Jai.


Players encourage youngsters


Indian shooter Tomar told the youth that ups and downs keep coming. Keep setting goals and keep trying to achieve them. This time medals have been won in 3 events in the shooting competition, next time our shooters will bring at least 10 medals. Indian hockey player Vivek Sagar said that after Tokyo, he made the country proud by winning bronze in Paris and will win gold medal in the next Olympics.
