UP: 10 people die in road accident in Bulandshahr


Ten people died in a horrific road accident in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning. A pickup and a private bus collided on Shikarpur-Bulandshahr road in which ten people lost their lives while 21 people were injured.


A bus collided with the Max pickup vehicle on the Salempur-Badaun road in Bulandshahr on Sunday morning.


Bulandshahr District Magistrate CP Singh said that today a pickup vehicle was going from Ghaziabad to Sambhal and a bus was coming towards Bulandshahr. Both vehicles collided near Salempur police station.


He told the media that a total of 37 people were injured in the collision between the two vehicles. In which 10 people have died. 27 people have been injured, who are undergoing treatment.


The District Magistrate has said that four seriously injured people have been referred to Meerut Medical College.


All the deceased are residents of Raipur Khas Ahir Nagla village of Atrauli tehsil of Aligarh district. A team of doctors is busy treating the injured in the emergency of the district hospital.


According to the police, more than 40 people from Raipur Khas Ahir Nagla village of Atrauli tehsil of Aligarh district were going to Aligarh from Ghaziabad. These people worked in Birtania Delta Food Company located at Bulandshahr Road B-10 in Ghaziabad. On Sunday morning, all the people left Ghaziabad for their home in a Max pickup vehicle. A private bus coming from the front in Salempur police station area hit the pickup.


The District Magistrate has told that the Chief Minister has taken cognizance of the incident. The Chief Minister had immediately instructed the SSP and the medical team to provide the best possible treatment.


District Magistrate Chandraprakash Singh and SSP Shlok Kumar reached the emergency of the district hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured and instructed the doctors for treatment. Injured Munesh told that Raksha Bandhan is on Monday. Therefore, everyone was going to the village together to celebrate the festival.
