Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has faced reprimand from BJP leadership following her controversial comments regarding the farmers' protest. In a clarification issued by the party, they emphasized that Kangana Ranaut's remarks do not reflect the party's views, expressing their disagreement with her statements.
The BJP's disapproval came after the BJP MP and actress suggested that the farmers' protest could have escalated into a crisis similar to that of Bangladesh if not for the government's decisive actions. The party reiterated its commitment to the principles of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas' and to fostering social harmony.
In an official statement, the BJP asserted, "Kangana Ranaut is not authorized to speak on policy matters on behalf of the party and has not been given permission to do so. The BJP has directed Kangana Ranaut to refrain from making such statements in the future."
