Bhopal: Hindi fortnight is being organized in Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center (BMHRC) from 14-29 September. Under this, senior storyteller Shri Rajendra Dani read his famous story 'Aaina' in the auditorium of the institute.
This story tells about the importance of the elderly, their problems. An attempt has also been made in the story to tell that the phase of old age comes in every person's life. A person should not be proud of his own immortality.
During this, story reading competition and translation competition were also organized. Deputy Commissioner in the State GST Department, Mrs. Raksha Dubey Choubey was present as the judge of the translation competition. Mrs. Choubey told the participants present in the competition about the need of mother tongue and the importance of translation.
Various programs mark Hindi fortnight in BMHRC
Various programs are being organized in BMHRC under Hindi fortnight. On September 20, a dictation competition was organized for non-Hindi speaking employees and students. A self-composed short story writing competition is being organized to inspire people to write in Hindi.
Apart from this, a fancy dress competition related to the costumes of Hindi litterateurs will also be organized. The closing ceremony of the Hindi fortnight will be held on September 30, in which the Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Shri Santosh Chaubey will be the chief guest of the program. He will be honored with the Sahitya Shri Samman by BMHRC. He will also honor the winners of various competitions held during the Hindi fortnight.
