Tirupati Laddu controversy: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made a big announcement regarding the controversy related to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). He announced the formation of SIT (Special Investigation Team) to conduct a thorough investigation into the Laddu Prasad row in the temple. Naidu says that this investigation will be on serious issues related to the sanctity of the Tirupati temple. He said that adulterated ghee was used in the temple prasad, which hurt the sentiments of the devotees.
Purification will be organized in the temple
Chandrababu Naidu has also ordered rituals including Santi Homam and Panchagavya Prakshalana to restore the sanctity of the temple. This purification program will be organized on Monday at Srivari Yagyashala of Tirumala temple. This ritual is running from 6 am to 10 am. Naidu says that through this homam, purity and sanctity will be re-established in the temple, which has been surrounded by controversies for some time.
'Reddy govt compromised temple's sanctity'
Naidu also made serious allegations against former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the Reddy government compromised the sanctity of the Tirumala temple during its tenure and appointed people close to it to the board. Naidu says that the tickets of the temple were also sold fraudulently. He said that the government has committed irregularities in the management committee of the temple, which has hurt the sentiments of the devotees.
'Jagan govt allowed use of adulterated ghee'
Naidu claimed that the holy Laddu Prasad of the temple was adulterated. He said that the Jagan government allowed the use of adulterated ghee instead of pure ghee, which affected the quality of the prasad. Naidu says that when he was the Chief Minister, pure ingredients were always used in the temple, but now the sanctity of the temple is being hurt.
SIT will investigate
Naidu said that SIT will be formed to investigate this matter. This special investigation team will work under the supervision of an IG level officer and will investigate all aspects of the Laddu Prasad scam in Tirupati temple. He said that the government will take strict action against the culprits. The government will ensure that such an incident never happens again.
