Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Congress has released its manifesto for Haryana. In this manifesto, promises have been made keeping in mind women, youth and the elderly. The first phase manifesto has been released by the Congress. While the second phase manifesto will be released in Chandigarh.
Actually, this manifesto has been released by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday. Speaking on the manifesto, Kharge said that the party will conduct a caste survey to find out where every community stands in welfare schemes. He said that this will help in identifying the participation of castes in education and employment. During this, Kharge promised that if the Congress party comes to power in Haryana, it will give legal guarantee on MSP.
While releasing the manifesto, Kharge was accompanied by Delhi Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, former Haryana CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Haryana Congress chief Uday Bhan at the Delhi headquarters of the Congress party.
Promises made in Manifesto
If Congress comes to power, all women (18-60 years) in Haryana will be given Rs 2,000 every month
People in Haryana will be given gas cylinders for Rs 500
Elderly, disabled and widows will be given a pension of Rs 6,000
Congress government will make permanent recruitments for 2 lakh youth in departments
On the lines of Rajasthan, in Haryana too, the Congress government will provide free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh. This will be done under the Chiranjeevi scheme.
People of Haryana will be given 300 units of free electricity to get relief from inflation
The scheme of giving free plots of 100-100 yards and permanent houses will start again
