International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (iCreate) Ahmedabad officials Avinash Punekar, CEO and Ashish Kanojia, Technology Advisor, recently visited the NITTR Bhopal and held a meeting with the Institute director and faculty members.
Guided by the vision of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, iCreate is an Institute dedicated to transforming startups based on technological innovation into successful businesses. During this visit, the establishment of a skill and entrepreneurship center, enterprise creation or incubation management and joint programs in the future were discussed.
NITTTR Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi said on this occasion that there is a need to change the perception towards startups. Startups are often considered risky and unstable, but these startups can be important sources of innovation, employment and economic growth.
With low cost indigenous technologies, Startup India, Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, are establishing India as a global hub for electronics system design and manufacturing, extensive work is being done in semiconductor and display manufacturing.
Under this, a skilling center for outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) is being started in the Institute. All kinds of training related to the semiconductor industry will be provided in this center. On this occasion, the Dean of the Institute, Prof. R.K. Dixit, Prof. PK Purohit, Prof. Pallavi Bhatnagar, Dr. PK Khanna, Prof. Seema Verma were present.
