Air India Flight Experiences Technical Issue, Safely Lands at Trichy Airport After Two Hours with 140 Passengers Onboard


Air India Express flight number IX613 going from Trichy in Tamil Nadu to Sharjah developed a technical fault. Due to the fault in the Air India plane, an emergency was quickly declared at Tiruchirapalli airport on the request of the pilot. According to the information received so far, it has been found that during the flight, there was a problem in the landing gear, due to which the pilot had to return.


Due to hydraulic failure in the Air India plane going from Trichy to Sharjah, the plane had to circle in the airspace to reduce fuel before landing at Trichy airport. According to the information, there were 140 passengers on board. In such a situation, more than 20 ambulances and fire engines were deployed at the airport to avoid any major accident. Airport director Gopalakrishnan has given this information.


After circling in the sky for about two hours, the plane has been safely landed at Trichy airport. The plane was flown in the air for two hours to expend its fuel, due to which it was able to land safely. If this landing had not happened, a big accident would have happened today because there were about 140 people on this plane.


In this way, a big accident has been averted, this problem arose due to a fault in the hydraulic system of the plane. According to the information received so far, all the people on board the plane are safe.
