Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Party has entered Bihar politics. On Wednesday, Prashant Kishor officially launched Jan Suraj at the Veterinary Ground in Patna. Manoj Bharti, who comes from the SC community, was made the first acting president of Jan Suraj.
Announcing his name, PK said that 'Bharti was not chosen as the president just because he is from the Dalit community, but because he is capable and also comes from the Dalit community.'
Manoj Bharti, who has been an ambassador in 4 countries, is from Madhubani. As soon as PK announced his name, he greeted the people with folded hands. Former IFS officer Manoj Bharti's tenure will last till March. After this, elections will be held again to elect the president.
Jan Suraj will contest by-elections on 4 seats before the assembly elections
Prashant Kishor said that other parties of Bihar will be accounted for in 2024 itself. By-elections are to be held on 4 assembly seats of Bihar in November 2024. Jan Suraj Party will field its candidates on Ramgarh, Tarari, Belagnj and Imamganj seats.
The leader who does not work will be removed
Prashant Kishor said that right to recall will be applicable for public representatives in the party. People who do not live up to expectations will be recalled. The party will take an affidavit from everyone before giving the ticket. If one-third of the founding members of Jan Suraj bring a no-confidence motion against him. After losing the voting, he will have to resign as per the affidavit.
Employment will be arranged for the youth
Prashant Kishor said that 'If our government is formed, we will focus on quality education of children. Employment will be arranged for the youth. The elderly will get a pension of Rs 2,000 every month.'
No one should call you and your children Bihari
Prashant Kishor, while raising the slogan of Jai Bihar, said that 'All of you have to say 'Jai Bihar' so loudly that no one calls you and your children Bihari and it does not sound like an abuse.
Your voice should reach Delhi and Bengal, where there are students from Bihar. It should reach Tamil Nadu and Mumbai, wherever Bihari children were abused and beaten, Kishor said.
'Vote for development of children'
Prashant Kishore said that 'People of Bihar voted for Lalu Yadav for the respect of backward classes. In Lalu's rule, backward classes got respect but did not get roads and electricity. Then voted for Nitish Kumar for roads and electricity.
Nitish provided electricity to every house even though the bill doubled. Then voted for Modi for gas cylinders. The price of cylinder went above Rs 1000, but cylinders reached every house.
If you voted for grains, you are getting grains, if you voted for electricity, you are getting electricity as well, if you voted for a voice, the backward classes got a voice as well.
But no one voted for the education and employment of their children. That is why the children of Bihar remained illiterate and labourers. You will have to vote for education and employment once, you will have to vote for the development of children, Prashant Kishor said.
