Now the blame game has started on UP's Milkipur assembly seat. Both the BJP organization and the government are blaming Gorakhnath Baba for this blunder. But the opposition is saying that the state government has deliberately allowed the Milkipur election to be postponed.
Blame game is going on in Milkipur assembly. BJP leader Gorakhnath Baba's petition has put the Milkipur assembly by-election in limbo. SP is calling it a conspiracy of BJP. At the same time, BJP is claiming that it happened by mistake.
By-elections announced on 9 out of 10 seats in UP
By-elections have been announced on 9 out of 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Milkipur election has been stopped. The reason is a petition by Gorakhnath Baba, who was the BJP candidate from Milkipur in 2022. However, neither the hearing could be completed nor did Baba Gorakhnath withdraw that petition after Awadhesh Prasad became MP from Faizabad.
However, after the announcement of election dates, when the dates for by-election on Milkipur assembly seat were not announced, BJP remembered that it had filed a petition on this seat. In such a situation, Gorakhnath Baba has withdrawn this petition.
Now the blame game has started on this. SP says that this is a well-planned conspiracy of BJP. So that the Milkipur assembly by-election could not be held simultaneously. At the same time, BJP says that we did not know that due to its petition, the election here would be stopped.
By-elections are to be held on these 9 seats of UP on November 13
By-elections are to be held in UP on Karhal (Mainpuri), Katehari (Ambedkarnagar), Kundarki (Moradabad), Sisamau (Kanpur), Khair (Aligarh), Ghaziabad, Mirapur (Muzaffarnagar), Phulpur (Prayagraj) and Majhwa (Mirzapur). Sisamau seat has become vacant due to the conviction of SP MLA Irfan Solanki, while on the remaining seats, MLAs have now been elected as Lok Sabha members. Voting for by-elections on nine seats will be held on November 13 next month. The counting of votes will take place ten days later on November 23.
