Trends for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra have come. The Mahayuti alliance is leading in more than 229 seats. The BJP alliance is sure to form the government in the state. The Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is ahead in more than 50 seats.
Chief Minister CM Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis said that the three parties will together decide who will be the next Chief Minister of the state. Earlier, Fadnavis had written on social media - Ek Hain To Safe Hain.
The Mahayuti includes BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and NCP (Ajit Pawar), while the Maha Vikas Aghadi includes Congress, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) and NCP (Sharad Pawar).
Voting was held on 20 November for 288 seats of Maharashtra Assembly. This time there was 4% more voting as compared to 2019. In 2019, 61.4% votes were cast. This time 65.11% voting took place.
