MP Tourism: Famous dishes from the Malwa and Nimar regions will soon be featured in the hotels operated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Corporation. Tourists can look forward to enjoying traditional meals such as Dal-Bafla, Dal Paniye, and Jowar-Maize rotis. The Tourism Minister has directed that these dishes be added to the menu.
Additionally, plans are underway to develop Hanumantiya Island in Khandwa as a destination for weddings.
Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi held a review meeting at the Tourism State Development Corporation on Wednesday. The minister has demanded mandatory inclusion of local dishes in the menu of the hotels of the Tourism Department. Tourists will be told the benefits of local food in the hotels.
Hotels and resorts to be built in Hanuwantiya
The Tourism Minister stated that Hanuwantiya is the primary tourist destination in the state. Prepare plans to develop hotels and resorts in the area, as well as to organize a variety of tourism activities. The goal is to attract visitors to Hanuwantiya year-round. Additionally, there are plans to complete the construction of religious sites and enhance tourism facilities within the established time-frame.
Local and millet dishes in investor summit
The tourism minister directed that hotels should prominently include local dishes in the menu. Local and millet dishes will also be served to the guests at the regional investor summit in Narmadapuram. The number of hotels and rooms should be increased according to the number of tourists.
