Delhi government departments have issued notices on two major schemes announced by the Aam Aadmi Party before the Delhi Assembly elections-2025. It has been told in these that no such scheme is applicable in Delhi.
Just a few days ago, former CM Arvind Kejriwal had announced that if his government is formed after the elections, the assistance amount given to women will be increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 2100. Apart from this, 'Sanjeevani' scheme was also announced for free treatment of people above 60 years of age in all the hospitals of Delhi. Registration has been started for these.
However, now the Women and Child Development Department of the Delhi government has issued a notice saying that no such scheme (Mahila Samman) has been notified.
The Women and Child Development Department has said in a public notice that it has come to know through media reports and social media posts that a political party is claiming to give Rs 2100 per month to the women of Delhi under the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana'.
The notice said, "It is clarified that no such scheme has been notified by the Delhi government."
A similar notice has been published by the Delhi government's health department in today's newspapers. It also said that no scheme like Sanjeevani Scheme has been notified at present.
After this, Aam Aadmi Party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal reacted.
Kejriwal wrote in a post on social media platform X, "These people are badly upset with Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana.
"They have planned to arrest Atishi by making a fake case in the next few days. Before that, raids will be carried out on senior AAP leaders.
