Madhya Pradesh: Sarsi Island will be connected to Bandhavgarh and Sanjay National Park; CM Mohan Yadav inaugurates; water tourism will be promoted; you can enjoy these facilities here


Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated Sarsi Island located in Ban Sagar Dam in Shahdol.


Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the tourism of our state is full of diversity. Seeing Sarsi Island in Rewanchal gives the feeling of Goa and Andaman Nicobar. Our state attracts people from all over the world.


Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sarsi Island located in Ban Sagar Dam in Shahdol district on Saturday.


CM Dr. Yadav said that to promote tourism of Sarsi Island, it will be connected to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Sanjay National Park. Water tourism will also be promoted in Ban Sagar Dam.



Boat clubs, eco-friendly huts


Sarsi Island Resort has been developed under the Eco-Circuit Project. It will be a special attraction for nature lovers and adventure lovers. There are many facilities for tourists here. Three modern boat clubs have been built for water sports. 10 eco-friendly huts have been developed for stay, from where the natural beauty of the surroundings can be enjoyed.



Restaurant, gym, play area


A wonderful restaurant has been built for food lovers at Sarsi Island Resort. A high-tech conference room has been prepared amidst nature for corporate events and meetings. Keeping in mind the fitness and entertainment of the tourists, a gym, library and play area for children have been prepared.



Boost to tourism


The construction of this resort is set to enhance tourism in Shahdol and its surrounding areas. Nestled amidst water and lush greenery, the resort offers a range of facilities, adventure activities, comfort, and entertainment options. It caters to all guests, providing spaces for corporate events as well as leisure holidays.


Hanuwantiya has been developed


Earlier, Hanuwantiya has been developed in the backwater of Indira Sagar Dam in Madhya Pradesh. The government organizes festivals here every year. Gandhi Sagar Festival, Jal Mahotsav, Chanderi Festival and Kuno Forest Festival have also been started to give an unforgettable experience. An all-season tent city has been built here. Here tourists can do land, water and air based activities ranging from skydiving, hot air ballooning, paramotoring, river rafting.


CM meets child artist


CM Dr. Yadav met child artist (singer) of Vindhya region Manya Pandey and enquired about her well-being. He also announced a reward of Rs 51 thousand to Manya. CM also announced a reward of Rs 5 thousand to each member of the music troupes.



CM did boating


Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the boat club in Sarsi Island and also did boating. Winners of the boating competition organized by Tourism Development Corporation were awarded.
