Today, Wednesday (25 December), the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being celebrated across the country. On this occasion, a special program was organized at the 'Sadaiv Atal' memorial in Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee by visiting his samadhi 'Sadaiv Atal'. Along with this, PM Modi also wrote an emotional post in memory of the former Prime Minister.
Atal Jayanti being celebrated as good governance
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee by visiting 'Sadaiv Atal'. President Droupadi Murmu and other prominent leaders paid floral tribute to Atal Bihari's samadhi. The NDA government is also celebrating Atal Jayanti as Good Governance Day. Events are being organized for this across the country.
A special program will be organized at the Atal Samadhi. In this program, poems and speeches of former Prime Minister Vajpayee will be remembered. 'Sadhaiv Atal' is a symbol of Atal Bihari's legacy.
The Prime Minister posted on X: "Respectful tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his 100th birth anniversary. He dedicated his life to building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India. His vision and mission will continue to infuse strength in the resolve of a developed India."
Shah pays tribute
Remembering Atal ji, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that he gave a new direction to ideology and value based politics. He played an important role in strengthening the BJP. Amit Shah wrote in a post on social media that Atal ji showed the country the path of good governance and development. His thoughts are still inspiring and will remain a guide for generations to come.
