What did Delhi BJP state president say about party's CM face in Delhi assembly elections-2025

Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva addressed inquiries regarding the party's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.

In response to journalists, he stated, "We have a singular face. We have announced all 70 of our candidates, and that is represented by the lotus flower."

Sachdeva also commented on the issue of Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants in Delhi. The Delhi state president stated, "Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in Delhi are infringing on the rights of the local population. Illegal migrants must be removed from the city."

He further remarked, "Delhi is for the citizens of this country, yet the Aam Aadmi Party is facilitating the settlement of foreigners here. AAP will be held accountable for this. The Aam Aadmi Party is working to establish Rohingyas and Bangladeshis as a vote bank."

On Sunday itself, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, while holding a press conference, cornered the BJP on the issue of Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants in Delhi.

She said, "I have written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah on the issue of illegal migrants in Delhi, especially on settling Rohingyas in Delhi."

According to Atishi, the central government has settled Rohingyas and illegal migrants in Delhi, especially in EWS flats in Bakkarwala area.

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had targeted the Aam Aadmi Party on the issue of Rohingya migrants in Delhi.

Delhi CM Atishi had responded to his allegations in her press conference.

Hardeep Singh Puri had written on the social media platform X, "Kejriwal, who gave Rs 10,000 to the intruders along with free electricity, water and other facilities in the illegal Rohingya colony, is once again engaged in misleading the people of Delhi."
