Bihar BPSC Paper Leak: What Prashant Kishor said after court granted unconditional bail

Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishor has been granted bail. He was sent to Beur Jail in Patna around 4 pm on Monday evening.

After coming out of Beur Jail, Prashant Kishor also talked to journalists. He intends to continue the hunger strike and will appeal to the Patna High Court in the next one or two days regarding this matter.

Prashant Kishor's lawyer Kumar Amit has said, "He should have got bail from the police station itself. The judge in the court gave conditional bail but we again presented our argument and the judge corrected his decision and gave unconditional bail."

In fact, Prashant Kishore, who was on a hunger strike in support of BPSC candidates in Patna's prestigious Gandhi Maidan since January 2, was arrested by Patna Police at 4 am on Monday.

After his arrest, he was presented in Patna Civil Court. The SDJM court granted him conditional bail. He was asked to submit a personal bond of Rs 25,000 and a bail bond to not stage any such protest in future.

Prashant Kishor refused to do so, after which he was sent to Beur Jail. But at 7 pm he got unconditional bail.
