Bhopal : On the second day of his Japan tour, MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Daiki Arai, Director of AND Medical Company, in Tokyo to discuss opportunities for medical device manufacturing in Madhya Pradesh.
CM Dr. Yadav highlighted the 75-acre Medical and Pharmaceutical Park being developed in Ujjain as a prime destination for global investors. He stated that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a new hub for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
While inviting investment in Ujjain’s state-of-the-art Medical Device Park, CM Mohan Yadav mentioned that the state government is offering land to industrial units at concessional rates. He emphasized that this park is a key center for India’s rapidly growing healthcare and medical device sector. Dr. Yadav assured that the state government would provide all possible support to make their businesses smoother.
CM Mohan Yadav stated that the availability of land at concessional rates, special incentive schemes for medical device, biotech, and pharma companies, along with better logistics and connectivity, will attract more and more investment to Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Daiki Arai, Director of AND Medical, expressed keen interest in establishing their manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh and stated that they plan to start by the end of this year. It is noteworthy that AND Medical Company from Japan manufactures medical devices and health monitoring products on a global scale.
