PM Modi will take holy dip in Mahakumbh on Feb 5… Bid to woo Indraprastha from Prayag

Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025: PM Narendra Modi is also going to be a part of the largest human gathering in Mahakumbh. If political strategists are to be believed, the date of his religious journey has been chosen on such a day that the BJP can also get political advantage from the PM's dip in the confluence.

Actually, PM Modi's visit to Prayag is proposed on February 5, and on the same day voting will also be held for the Delhi Assembly elections. Therefore, it is believed that an attempt to woo 'Indraprastha' from Prayag will also be seen.

The date of February 5 is going to be very special. Questions are now arising in the minds of people about such a special occasion. The question is being raised that why PM Narendra Modi has chosen the date of 5th February for dip instead of taking dip during one of the Amrit Snans in Mahakumbh. Actually, why PM chose 5th February for bathing in Mahakumbh is also no less interesting.

Devotees are arriving not only from the country but also from abroad to participate in the Mahakumbh bath after 144 years. Everyone is excited about bathing in Mahakumbh. Every day from common devotees to special VVIPs are also reaching the banks of the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati for holy bath.

Why is 5 Feb special for holy dip?

PM Modi chose to take dip on 5th February instead of taking dip in Mahakumbh on the holy day of Magh Purnima and Basant Panchami. However, 5 Feb is a special day as it is Ashtami Tithi of Gupt Navratri of Magh month. This date is considered very holy and important from religious point of view. Doing penance along with bathing and meditation on this day gives special virtue. Even in the scriptures, this date of Gupt Navratri is considered very good for worship and rituals.

It is mentioned in the religious scriptures that after taking a bath in the water of the holy river on the Ashtami date of Magh month, offering fruits with water, sesame and Akshat to the ancestors is believed to give salvation to the ancestors. Along with this, the path of salvation of the person also becomes easy. This is the reason why this Ashtami date of Gupt Navratri of Magh month is considered auspicious.

Many celebrities have taken bath

From former President of India Ramnath Kovind to many famous personalities have taken bath in Maha Kumbh.
