Controversy Erupts Over Sam Pitroda's Remarks on China, What BJP Said? Will Kharge take action against him?

comments about China have sparked political controversy. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi, questioning whether the party receives financial support from China. BJP said Congress has repeatedly praised China. In response, Congress distanced itself from Pitroda's remarks. Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that his views do not reflect those of the Congress party.

Will Kharge take action?

This incident is not the first time Congress has had to clarify Pitroda's statements, as he has previously made controversial remarks that led to the party sidelining him. He was even removed from certain positions. It remains to be seen if party leader Mallikarjun Kharge will take action against him this time or not.

Pitroda's contentious statement addressed the LAC border dispute. He claimed that the India-China issue has been "exaggerated" by the United States. Pitroda said that it is unfair to label China as an enemy.

In response the BJP accused Congress of handing over India's land to the neighboring country.

BJP MP targets Rahul

Besides, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi slammed Rahul Gandhi. He referred to Rahul's previous comments about China's rapid progress, including its handling of unemployment and press freedom. Trivedi argued that if Pitroda's statement is taken into account, it could be seen as an insult to the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley conflict.
