Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Kejriwal loses, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Somnath Bharti, Satyendra Jain trail, Manish Sisodia accepts defeat


Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Result : Counting of votes in Delhi Assembly elections-2025 is in its final phase. According to the data of Datanet, BJP is currently leading in 47 seats. Aam Aadmi Party is leading in only 23 seats.


Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has lost to BJP's Parvesh Verma in New Delhi Assembly seat.


Many other big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party are also trailing. Saurabh Bhardwaj, Somnath Bharti, Satyendra Jain are trailing behind BJP in their respective seats.


AAP candidate Manish Sisodia from Jangpura seat and AAP candidate Awadh Ojha from Patparganj seat have accepted their defeat.


Awadh Ojha said, "People have given respect and I am in second place. I have started my political innings for the first time and I am happy with this achievement."


Aam Aadmi Party had fielded former Deputy CM and current MLA from Patparganj seat Manish Sisodia from Jangpura.


Manish Sisodia has also accepted his defeat from the Jangpura seat.


Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Kalkaji seat Atishi is leading over BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri. Saurabh Bhardwaj is trailing from Greater Kailash seat.


Most exit polls had predicted BJP to get an edge.


Aam Aadmi Party candidate Adil Ahmed Khan is trailing from Mustafabad. BJP's Mohan Singh Bisht is contesting here.


There are 70 assembly seats in Delhi and any party needs 36 seats to form the government.


Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Greater Kailash and minister in Atishi government Saurabh Bhardwaj is trailing. He is trailing behind BJP's Shikha Roy. Congress's Garvit Singhvi is contesting here.


Awadh Ojha, a teacher who gives private coaching to students preparing for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), is trailing. He is the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from here. BJP candidate Ravinder Singh Negi is leading over Awadh Ojha in Patparganj seat.


Aam Aadmi Party candidate BB Tyagi is leading from Laxmi Nagar. Aam Aadmi Party candidate Anjana Parcha is leading from Trilokpuri seat.


Aam Aadmi Party candidate Kuldeep Kumar is leading from Kondli. Aam Aadmi Party candidate Prem Chauhan is leading from Deoli seat.
