Delhi Election 2025: This is How BJP Has Mobilized Senior Leaders to Win Over Regional Voters

The Delhi Assembly Election 2025 is entering its final phase of campaigning, with political parties actively seeking to engage voters. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ramped up its efforts by bringing in prominent leaders to bolster their campaign. In addition to door-to-door outreach, the party is conducting meetings with workers to strengthen their ground game.

The deadline for campaigning in the Delhi Assembly elections is set for February 3, prompting the BJP to intensify its activities. The party has strategically deployed top leaders to connect with various communities within the state, ensuring that every effort is made to win over voters and outmaneuver their rivals.

200 rallies, roadshows planned

To maximize their outreach, BJP leaders are concentrating on areas with significant populations of Purvanchalis, Sikhs, Marathis, Bengalis, and other communities. The party is also distributing pamphlets to workers in slums and the unorganized sector. On the final day of campaigning, the BJP plans to organise about 200 rallies, roadshows, and promotional events across Delhi.

Purvanchal voters

In an effort to attract Purvanchal voters, the BJP has enlisted the support of Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Assam. Leaders such as Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary have been tasked with leading the campaign in these communities.

Jat voters

To appeal to Jat voters, who make up about 20 percent of the electorate in Delhi, the party has sent senior leaders from Haryana, including CM Naib Singh Saini, Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Chaudhary, and Manohar Lal Khattar, to address marathon rallies in the city.

Maratha voters

Besides, the BJP has assigned Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to focus on campaigning for Marathi voters, while leaders from Bengal have been brought in to engage with Bengali voters. As the election approaches, it remains to be seen how effective these strategies will be for the BJP in securing voter support in the final days of the campaign.
