Chandigarh: In Haryana, another instance of tension between BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli and Anil Vij has come to the fore. Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij has created trouble regarding the list released by the BJP for the civic elections here. Vij has expressed displeasure over the list of councilor candidates for Ambala Cantt Municipal Council. According to sources, the names of Anil Vij's supporters have been removed from the list, due to which he is angry.
Vij's supporters reached Vij's house on Saturday morning, where a meeting was held. In this meeting, Vij has said that he will get the list put on hold. Vij has also sent an e-mail to the party's national president JP Nadda. In this, he has written that if the names of his supporters are not included in the list, then he will not campaign for the candidates in the elections. He will go abroad.
It is also being told that in view of Vij's displeasure, the list of municipal council candidates has been put on hold by the BJP. Now it is likely that this list will be released again soon. However, Anil Vij has not yet issued any official statement in this regard. If sources are to be believed, this list was prepared by state president Badoli.
In fact, a list of councilor candidates for Ambala Cantt Municipal Council was sent to the party by Energy Minister Anil Vij. This list included the names of Anil Vij's supporters, but when the list was released late at night, the names of 16 supporters of Anil Vij were not in this list. In view of this, Vij called a meeting of his supporters and BJP workers in the morning.
