BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Choudhary made a statement in Haryana directed at Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, which has sparked a stir in political circles.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda has served as the Chief Minister of Haryana from 2005 to 2014. He was the Leader of the Opposition in Haryana Legislative Assembly from 2019 to 2024.
Targeting the Congress leader, Kiran Chaudhary said that there is no need to bring Bhupinder Singh Hooda into BJP, because he already works for BJP. The BJP leader gave this statement while talking to the media in Bhiwani, Haryana.
The BJP MP said about the Delhi Assembly elections that Congress was wiped out there and now the party will be finished. Not only this, he said that BJP will win with an absolute majority in the civic elections.
At the same time, taking a dig at the speculations of Bhupinder Singh Hooda joining BJP, Kiran Choudhary said that Hooda has been with us (BJP) since the beginning and is working for us. I thank him for this.
On the possibility of Hooda becoming the leader of the opposition, the BJP leader said that as long as the father-son (Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Deepender Hooda) are in the Congress, nothing is going to happen to the party. Congress is ending because of such leaders.
Not much time left for the Haryana civic elections and with this the electoral maneuvers have also started. On one hand, the BJP is campaigning vigorously, while on the other hand, sluggishness is being seen in the Congress.
Congress MP Kumari Selja has appealed for votes in only a few areas, while Bhupinder Hooda is not seen anywhere except Rohtak. There is a lack of coordination between star campaigners and party workers in the Congress camp.
