Bollywood queen Alia Bhatt frequently makes headlines for various reasons. The actress has carved a distinct identity in the industry in a remarkably short time, delivering many superhit films. Recently, her daughter Raha has also gained a lot oft attention among the public. However, news has emerged that Alia has deleted all photos of Raha from her Instagram account where her face is visible. This has lead to speculation that safety could be the reason behind this decision.


Alia removed these pictures overnight, but she has not publicly explained her motivations. Previously, Neetu Kapoor had also requested paparazzi not to photograph Raha, indicating a growing concern for the child's privacy. Raha had started appearing more frequently in front of the paparazzi. Users believe that Alia's recent actions are aimed at maintaining her daughter's privacy.


Interestingly, some social media users are connecting the sudden removal of the photos to a recent incident involving Saif Ali Khan. On January 16, an unknown person entered the room of Saif's younger son. Saif sustained serious injuries while trying to protect himself. Following this incident, Kareena Kapoor Khan also decided to restrict paparazzi from taking pictures of her children, citing safety concerns.


Public reaction on social media has been mixed, but most of the users have expressed support for Alia's decision to remove Raha's photos. On a personal note, Alia married Ranbir Kapoor in 2022. They welcomed Raha into their family.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
