The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given relief to the students of class 12 and announced that the students, who are unable to appear in the Hindi (core and optional) examination on 15 March 2025 due to Holi, will get the opportunity of special examination.
CBSE conducts special examinations every year for the students participating in national and international sports competitions. Now under this policy, students who do not take the exam due to Holi will also be able to avail this facility.
The CBSE has directed all the schools to inform the students about this decision so that they can take a decision according to their convenience. This decision is a relief for those students and parents who were in dilemma about the festival and exam date.
The CBSE has said that the board is not only committed to maintaining academic discipline but also understands the practical problems of the students. This initiative to maintain the balance of examination and festival highlights the need for flexibility and sensitivity in the education system.
