Maharashtra: Why Sanjay Raut praised Devendra Fadnavis? Jolt to Eknath Shinde?

The Fadnavis government in Maharashtra has once again put on hold another decision taken during the tenure of the then Deputy Chief Minister of the state Eknath Shinde. According to reports, the Fadnavis government has suspended the work of Rs 3,200 crore of the Health Department. The then Health Minister Tanaji Sawant has been accused of giving the contract of mechanical cleaning to a company without any work experience.

Meanwhile, following this decision, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has initiated action against the irregularities of the Shinde government and has suspended several decisions made by the Shinde government. There are also reports that some decisions will be canceled.

Contract given to company without any work experience

Tanaji Sawant was the Health Minister during the Shinde government. During his time, scams worth thousands of crores of rupees took place, including the transfer of officers and the purchase of ambulances.

An agreement was made to clean all government hospitals, primary health centers and sub-centers under the jurisdiction of the Health Department through external arrangements. For this, a contract of Rs 638 crore annually and a total of Rs 3,190 crore for 3 years was given to a private company in Pune on 30 August 2024. However, Devendra Fadnavis has put the brakes on this decision of Eknath Shinde in the health department.

Sanjay Raut praised Fadnavis

Sanjay Raut, while speaking in Nashik, said that the public health department comes in direct contact with the public. But if there is corruption in that department, then what kind of department is it and what kind of politics is it.

Raut said CM Devendra Fadnavis is stopping all this and if he stops it in the future and if he brings to the people how corruption happened earlier, we will definitely welcome him. We will welcome his every step. Saying this, Shiv Sena Thackeray group MP Sanjay Raut has once again praised Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
