MP: Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presents Budget: Target to increase per capita income to 22 lakh 35 thousand in state, know what is there for Ladli Bahnas in Mohan govt's budget



Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Jagdish Deora started his budget speech in the assembly with a Sanskrit shloka. The Finance Minister said that the people and public representatives of the state have countless demands. We want to fulfill all of them. These are our efforts. The Finance Minister said that the One District One Product Scheme has been included in the priorities of the government. Under this scheme, products from 19 districts of the state have received GI tag so far.


FM presented a budget of 4 lakh 20 thousand crores


Developed Madhya Pradesh aims to reach the gross domestic product of 250 lakh crores by the year 2047.


This time the budget has increased by 15% compared to 2024.


A target has been set to achieve the per capita annual income of 22 lakh 33 thousand in the state.


A provision of Rs 25 crore was made for the SC/ST Atrocity Eradication Act.


A provision of Rs 1,860 crore was made for backward class and minority welfare.


39 new industrial areas are being developed in Madhya Pradesh. These areas will generate more than 3 lakh jobs.


More than 53,000 houses have been built for the special backward castes of the state.


22 new hostels will be built in the state this year.


The beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana in MP will be linked with Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Suraksha Yojana as well as Atal Pension Yojana. A provision of Rs 100 crore has been proposed for this scheme.


A provision of Rs 20 crore 52 lakh was made for competitive examinations in Madhya Pradesh.


The scope of higher education will expand in Madhya Pradesh. New colleges have been established in Khargone, Guna of the state. Digital universities will also be opened in the state.


19 products of Madhya Pradesh will get GI tag. In this way, one district one product will be promoted.


IIT institutes will be opened during the next five years


This year ITI will be opened in places where there are none


Under the CM Shakti Yojana to promote sports in Madhya Pradesh, a target has been set to provide stadiums in every assembly constituency. A proposal of Rs 25 crore has been made for 56 stadiums in the state.


Finance Minister Deora said that the MP government's target is to make 'Developed Madhya Pradesh'. Along with this, attention will also be paid to the preservation of the cultures of the tribes of the state. 


Sugam Parivahan Seva


Deora said that 'Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva' will be started to provide cheap and easy transportation in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh. A provision of Rs 20 crore has been made in the budget for this. Exemption in motor vehicle tax will be provided on purchasing new vehicles to replace old vehicles. In Madhya Pradesh, this exemption has been provided at 15% for transport vehicles and 25% for non-transport vehicles.


Amount of Rs 50 crore for pilgrimage of the elderly


The Madhya Pradesh government has allotted an amount of Rs 50 crore for the pilgrimage of the elderly in the budget. At the same time, the government has made a provision of Rs 2 lakh 1 thousand 282 crore for the schemes of social and economic upliftment. 


A high level committee will be formed by the government to consider the Unified Pension Scheme for the government employees of the state. From April 1, 2025, changes will also be made in the dearness allowance DA of the 7th pay scale.


Hostels will be built for working women


Many schemes have also been announced in the budget for the women of Madhya Pradesh and the weaker sections of the society. Hostels will be built for working women in Madhya Pradesh. Ladli Bahans will be linked to various government schemes of the state. This will provide economic and social security to women. Along with this, an insurance committee will also be formed.


At the same time, he said that many important announcements were also made in the budget in the field of education. AI Artificial Intelligence education has been started in 73 universities of Madhya Pradesh, both government and private. This will prepare the youth of the state for the future. It will also give them an opportunity to master new technologies.


CM Rise schools will be set up in tribal areas


During the budget speech in the Legislative Assembly, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora said that CM Rise schools will be built in tribal areas. A provision of Rs 3068 crore has been made for this. The government will send 50 students of the tribal class of the state abroad for studies. More than 11 thousand 300 tribal-dominated villages will be transformed. For which a budget of 200 crores has been kept in the budget. 


A provision of 1017 crores is being made for CM Rise Schools in tribal areas. Free ration is being provided to 1 crore 33 lakh families under PM Garib Kalyan. This time a provision of Rs 466 crore has been made through various social security pension schemes of the state. 39 new industrial areas will be developed in Madhya Pradesh.
