Poland, a member country of NATO, has reacted to US
President Donald Trump's decision to stop military aid to Ukraine.
Poland's Foreign Ministry spokesman Pavel Vronsky told reporters that the US has taken this decision without talking to or informing the US-led military organization NATO. He said, "This decision is very important and the situation is very serious."
On this issue, Oleksandr Merezhko, an MP from Ukrainian
President Volodymyr Zelensky's party, told media, "This looks like taking
Russia's side. This is devastating. Ukraine cannot effectively protect itself
without American help."
Last Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a
heated debate with Donald Trump and US Vice President JD Vance in the US
President's office.
Meanwhile, Russia has responded after the ban on US military
aid to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov
said, "If this (ban on US military aid) is true, then it can certainly put
pressure on the Ukrainian government to join the peace process."
According to Peskov, the US has been the most prominent
country supplying weapons to Ukraine.
