More than 2.5 crore women of Maharashtra have been waiting for the eighth installment of the Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Minister Aditi Tatkare had informed that the installment for the month of February will be given on the eve of International Women's Day i.e. on March 7. Now the Maharashtra government and Minister Aditi Tatkare have given another good news for the beneficiary women of the state.
State Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare said on Monday that the February installment under the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries on the eve of International Women's Day i.e. March 7. While talking to reporters in the Vidhan Bhavan premises, Tatkare said that the process of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) will start from March 5.
Today i.e. on Tuesday, Minister Aditi Tatkare announced that this time 3000 rupees will be given to the beneficiary women of Ladki Bahin Yojana. This 3000 rupees will be the installment for the month of February and March. On the eve of International Women's Day i.e. on March 7, the installment of two months will be transferred to the account of women simultaneously.
Women's Day gift for Ladki Bahnas
Minister Aditi Tatkare posted a post giving information about this on the social media platform X. She wrote that "Women's Day gift for Ladki Bahnas! On the eve of Women's Day, all the eligible beneficiaries of Mukhya Mantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will be given the benefit for the months of February and March. By March 7, 2025, two months' honorarium of Rs 3,000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of all eligible beneficiaries!
Yesterday i.e. on Monday, Minister Tatkare had said that this scheme has reached 2.5 crore women and last month more than 2.35 crore beneficiaries have received the allowance. The installment of March will be distributed on March 26 before the end of the budget session. But on Tuesday she announced that the installment of March will also be given on March 7.
