IND vs AUS: India reaches final for third time in a row in ICC Champions Trophy-2025


India has entered the final by defeating Australia in the semi-final match of the ICC Champions Trophy-2025. The Team India defeated Australia by 4 wickets and made it to the final for the third time in a row. India will clash with the winner of New Zealand and S Africa for the title.


The Indian team has not lost a single match in the Champions Trophy so far. By defeating Australia, it has avenged the defeat in the World Cup. The final match will be played in Dubai on March 9.


Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Australia scored 264 runs after losing all wickets. Australia did not have a good start. Cooper Conley was dismissed without opening the account. 


After that Travis Head started scoring runs fast. Travis Head played an innings of 39 runs in 33 balls. During this, 5 fours and 2 sixes came from his bat. The second wicket fell at a score of 54. After that Australia captain Steve Smith and Labuschagne together made a partnership of 56 runs.


Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed on a score of 110. Labuschagne played an innings of 29 runs. After that Josh Inglis scored 11 runs. After Josh Inglis was dismissed, Steve Smith got the support of Alex Carey. 


Steve Smith was dismissed after scoring 73 runs. Soon after that Glenn Maxwell also got out. Even after that, Carey stood firm and was run out after scoring 61 runs. Ben Dwarshiv scored 19 and Nathan Ellis scored 10 runs. Bowling for India, Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets, Hardik Pandya took 1, Varun Chakraborty took 2, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 and Axar Patel took 1 wicket.


India's start was shaky


In response, the Indian team chasing the target also did not have a good start. Shubman Gill was out after scoring 8 runs. After that Rohit Sharma also got out after scoring 28 runs. India's second wicket fell at the score of 43. 


From here Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer together made a partnership of 91 runs. Shreyas Iyer was out after scoring 45 runs. After that Axar Patel scored 27 runs. The fourth wicket fell at 178. Virat Kohli stood firm at one end.
