Will Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, Jayant Chaudhary oppose Waqf Amendment Bill? What Asaduddin Owaisi said? What BJP said?

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board is protesting against the amendment in the Waqf Act at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Muslim organizations like Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Jamaat-e-Islami also participated in the protest. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress leader Salman Khurshid also aarived at the vsnue of the protest. However, Owaisi's statement has added intrigue to the entire situation.

According to media reports, the central government can introduce the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament. Muslim organizations say that after the passage of this bill, the government's control over Waqf properties will increase. Muslim organizations are calling it religious interference. At the same time, Owaisi has made a new move regarding this.

What did Asaduddin Owaisi say?

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, referring to the major constituents of the NDA, said that if Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu and Lok Dal want, the Waqf Amendment Bill will not be passed. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see what is the stand of all these on this bill?

In political discussions, some people are saying that Asaduddin Owaisi has hit the right spot. Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar and Jayant Chaudhary may oppose this bill. Because earlier when the name plate controversy happened in UP, Lok Dal and Nitish's parties had registered their protest.

Cong MP's stand

On this protest, Congress MP Imran Masood said, "The 1995 law was perfect in itself. If there were any flaws in it, the (central) government should have changed it, but they changed it completely. They will ruin it completely."

Questions are being raised on our cultural identity: Salman Khurshid

Salman Khurshid, who came to join the protest, said that our community has sacrificed for the country. He said that our country is a symbol of unity but now questions are being raised on our cultural identity.

He said that UCC is being implemented in Uttarakhand, which is a part of this thinking. Salman Khurshid said that the government should understand our feelings. He said that our people will solve their issues themselves, there is no need for anyone to interfere.

BJP's reaction

At the same time, BJP's reaction has also come to the fore on the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar. BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said that it has become clear from this demonstration that the All India Muslim Personal Law Board is the B team of Congress. Pradeep Bhandari said that the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has proved that it is the B team of Congress and has also made it clear that it is a threat to the unity and integrity of India.

He said that the Waqf (Amendment) Act is about the rights of farmers, poor Muslims and Dalits and implementing Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution. The Supreme Court has ruled that street protests are unconstitutional and the law will deal legally with any unconstitutional act.
