Aditya Thackeray corners BJP on the controversies surrounding language and food, what did he say?

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray has cornered BJP on the controversies on language and food.

He said, "Be it the politics of language, veg-nonveg politics, Hindu-Muslim politics, caste politics among Hindus, why does all this happen only in BJP-ruled states?"

"We also had a government for two and a half years in Maharashtra, there were no such issues then. Everything was peaceful. There are many states in the country where BJP is not in power, the situation is good those states. Then where BJP rules, how does Hindutva come under threat?"

Aditya Thackeray said, "Wherever the BJP rules, why does the happiness and prosperity of that place come under threat and why are there controversies? Because the BJP wants us to keep fighting so that we get distracted from the main issues."

"Everyone should learn every language. However, in every state, the language of that state should be respected."

Aditya Thackeray added, "If someone insults a person and says that I will not speak this language, or if that language is insulted, or if there is a situation like in Maharashtra, where there is no fear of the law and no one is afraid, then someone might take the law into their own hands."
