Third leg of the flyover will pass over existing flyover
Sarang said that with the aim of strengthening and facilitating the traffic system in Narela Assembly constituency, 10 flyovers have been gifted so far. 5 lakh citizens are getting facilities from the Subhash Nagar ROB built last year. Now, by expanding this ROB, its 'third leg' will be prepared. This flyover will pass over the Subhash Nagar ROB. The third leg will make it easier for commuters from BHEL area to reach MP Nagar and New Bhopal.
Subhash Nagar third leg will be an excellent example of civil engineering
Minister Sarang said that this third leg will be technically very advanced and will present an excellent example of civil engineering. This flyover will pass over the Subhash Nagar ROB and will be constructed taking a curve with a very attractive design. Its construction will include a span of about 242 meters and its estimated cost is about Rs 22 crore. He said that the design of the third leg has been prepared and the construction work will start soon.
Commuters coming from BHEL will not have to take long detour
Minister Sarang said that at present, the commuters coming from the BHEL area have to take a long detour through Prabhat Chauraha to climb the Subhash Nagar flyover. This problem will be completely eliminated by the construction of the third leg. Now vehicles coming from BHEL will be able to climb directly on the old flyover.
Along with this, commuters going towards BHEL area from Maida Mill and MP Nagar will no longer have to take the route of Prabhat Square and will climb from Maida Mill side through the third leg and descend at Moti Nagar. He said that this third leg will provide direct and convenient access to the passengers, which will further improve the traffic system of the city.
