Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi joined the 'Stop migration, give jobs' march in Bihar's Begusarai district on Monday. This march is taking place at a time when Bihar is going to hold assembly elections this year. Congress said that this march is for the youth.
Congress wrote on social media platform X, "Our fight against unemployment, inflation, paper leak and migration will continue till the youth get justice."
Rahul Gandhi wrote on X, "Congress's intention in Bihar is clear - to become a strong voice of the poor, the weak and the deprived. Our goal is also clear - to ensure equality, participation and respect for the Bahujans and women in politics. We will create a just and inclusive Bihar by taking along every class, every society - change is certain in the state and we will all bring about this change together."
JDU, which is running a coalition government in the state, has reacted to Rahul Gandhi's participation in the 'Stop migration, give jobs' yatra in Bihar.
JDU has been in power in the state for nearly 20 years and during this time Nitish Kumar has been the Chief Minister of the state.

On this, JDU leader and Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh said, "His (Rahul Gandhi's) family has a history of violating the Constitution... he does not know that appointment letters are being distributed every day in Bihar."
On the question of Rahul Gandhi's participation in the yatra, he said, "There is no curfew in Bihar, every person has the right to come here."
Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar this year and Congress says that this yatra is for the youth.
