IPL 2025: Vaibhav Suryavanshi scripts history but success did not come easily, tells young genius

In IPL 2025, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has caught everyone's attention with his explosive batting. He grabbed headlines as soon as he made his debut. Playing for Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav created a new history by scoring a century in just 35 balls. He has become the first Indian batsman to score the fastest century in IPL. Along with this, he has also made the record of being the youngest player to hit a century in T20 cricket.

Vaibhav did this miracle at the age of just 14 years and 32 days. In this match against Gujarat Titans, he played an explosive innings of 101 runs in 38 balls, which included 11 sixes and 7 fours. When Vaibhav was raining fours and sixes on the field, Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) President Rakesh Tiwari was also present in the stadium and witnessed this historic innings.

Talking to the media after the match, BCA President Rakesh Tiwari proudly said that this son of Bihar will be seen on even bigger stages very soon. He told that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself called Vaibhav Suryavanshi and congratulated him and announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh. Tiwari said that Bihar is once again returning to its golden era in cricket.

Father left job, mother slept for only 3 hours: Vaibhav

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has given the credit of his success to his parents. Vaibhav told that the success did not come easily. He revealed that the hard work of his parents was behind the success he achieved. Vaibhav told that his mother used to get up early in the morning and prepare tiffin for him so that there would be no problem during the practice session.

His father left his job so that he could focus on his son's game. Apart from this, both of them made many other efforts, on the basis of which Vaibhav progressed in his career.

IPL posted a video of Vaibhav, in which the young batsman said, 'Whatever I am today, I give credit to my parents. My mother used to wake up early in the morning because I had to go to practice and she used to cook food for me. She used to sleep only for three hours. My father left his job for me and my elder brother is handling it now. We were struggling.'
